This website/blog is dedicated to helping artists to promote themselves and their artwork.
I have been involved in the art industry over the past few years. Before that I was an accountant: yes believe it or not an accountant. Having always been involved in a logical and analytical environment, I decided to venture into something totally different and well frankly more colourful and fun. And this led me to opening my own gallery which was situated on Kensington Church Street.
During the period that I owned the gallery, I came across some amazing artists and artwork and also noticed the frustrations the artists had over marketing and selling their works. Some had lost faith in Galleries and were starting to organise their own shows by renting out gallery space. Others were venturing into the online world which is a minefield.
Being of an analytical mind at the very core, I was always facinated by the inetrnet and knew that my success was linked to my knowledge and awareness of the internet.
I therefore decided to start this website so that I can share with artists what I learn about marketing and especially internet marketing.
